What cancer cause hot flashes?

My mother has been having really bad hot flashes lately, much worse than normal. She's worried, and a friend mentioned that sometimes hot flashes can be related to certain cancers. Is there a type of cancer that can cause hot flashes?

Haan ji, hot flashes are usually associated with menopause, na? But some cancers, especially hormone-sensitive ones like prostate cancer in men or breast cancer in women (especially with certain treatments), can cause them. It's because of hormonal changes. So, agar sudden hot flashes hain, toh doctor ko dikhana important hai.

Oh, hot flashes can be a cancer symptom? This makes me so anxious! I always thought it was just menopause. But yeah, I've heard breast cancer treatments can cause them, and maybe some endocrine cancers too? It's really confusing. If you're experiencing them, please get it checked. Don't stress too much before seeing a doctor.

My older sister used to have hot flashes because of her breast cancer treatment, it was very difficult for her. And some men, especially with prostate cancer treatment, also experience it. My mother always said to keep cool with curd rice, but for something like this, only the doctor can tell you what is truly happening. Please consult them.

Yes, hot flashes can be linked to certain cancers, especially those that affect hormone levels or are treated with hormone therapies. For example, some breast cancers in women, or prostate cancer in men, can cause them. It's always best to discuss new or persistent symptoms like this with your doctor to rule out anything serious. Don't panic, but do get it checked.

Hey! So, usually we think of hot flashes with menopause. But actually, some cancers, especially those linked to hormones like breast cancer or prostate cancer (due to their treatments), can also cause them. It's not common for it to be cancer, but if you're getting them frequently and it's unusual for you, a quick check-up with the doc is always a good idea, just to be sure.
