What can i take instead of mounjaro for diabetes?

My doctor prescribed Mounjaro for my diabetes, but it's getting quite expensive for me. Are there any other options that work similarly or are more affordable? I'm looking for something that can help control my sugar levels effectively.

It's totally normal to feel a bit overwhelmed when thinking about medication changes, especially for something like diabetes. I remember when my doc suggested a switch for my thyroid, I was so anxious. Best to really talk it out with your doctor about what alternatives are suitable for YOU. Don't stress too much before that!

Beta, don't worry too much about these things. Medicines change, new ones come, old ones go. My father had diabetes for many years, and his medicines changed many times. Just trust your doctor. They know best what will suit your body. Just be regular with your check-ups.

For ongoing conditions like diabetes, regularly getting your tests done and following up with your doctor is key. There are so many factors they consider before changing medication dosage or type. Make sure you discuss all your concerns and potential alternatives with your endocrinologist.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend anyone to take anything without talking to their doctor, especially for diabetes. Mere dad ko bhi diabetes hai, and every time his meds needed changing, the doc explained all the options. It's too important to self-medicate or take advice from random people online. Pls consult your physician.

I can only imagine how difficult it must be to switch meds for something like diabetes. I get anxious even thinking about changing my simple allergy medicine! Did your doctor suggest Mounjaro initially? What are the reasons for wanting an alternative? Just curious if others have felt this way.

Namaste. While I can't say anything about medicines, I've seen that consistent yoga and pranayama have really helped my sugar levels stay in control alongside my prescribed meds. Maybe you can explore gentle practices like walking and mindful breathing with your doctor's permission? It brings a sense of calm too.
