What can i take for arthritis pain while on eliquis?

I have arthritis in my hands, and the pain is getting worse, but I'm also on Eliqus for a blood clotting issue. My doctor said I need to be careful with other medications. What can I take for arthritis pain while on Eliqus?

Dealing with arthritis and blood thinners is very challenging. I hope you find some relief soon. Please discuss this with your doctor.

Oh no, arthritis pain is the worst! And with Eliquis, that's a tricky combo. I always hear about how some foods help with inflammation, like turmeric or ginger, but for proper pain relief, especially with a blood thinner, you HAVE to ask your doctor. Don't even try any supplements without their green light, seriously!

Eliquis is serious medicine, beta. You cannot take anything for arthritis without asking your heart doctor and your general doctor. Many pain medicines can react badly with blood thinners. Don't take any chances, please go to the doctor directly.

Dude, Eliquis is a blood thinner, right? So like, NSAIDs (most common painkillers like ibuprofen) are a big no-no 'cause they also thin blood. You gotta talk to your doc about this, man. Maybe paracetamol is okay, but confirm it. Don't self-medicate on blood thinners.

This is a very specific medical situation, so while I usually suggest natural remedies, here you absolutely must see your doctors. Some natural supplements, like certain herbs, can also interact with blood thinners. So, for arthritis pain while on Eliquis, please speak with both your prescribing doctor and perhaps a rheumatologist. They will guide you safely.

This is a really important question and you're right to be cautious. Many common arthritis medications can interfere with Eliquis and increase bleeding risk. Your absolute first step should be to consult your prescribing doctor (cardio or general physician) and a rheumatologist. They will guide you on safe options, which might include specific types of pain relievers or physical therapies. Be safe.

Oh, that sounds complicated. Eliquis is a blood thinner, right? So, does that mean even common painkillers are dangerous? What about natural pain relief creams?
