What can i snack on as a diabetic?

I'm diabetic and trying to eat healthier, but I get hungry between meals. What are some good, healthy snack options that I can have without spiking my blood sugar?

Hey, it's good you're thinking about smart snacking! Try things like a handful of almonds or walnuts, a small bowl of plain yogurt, or even some cucumber and carrot sticks. These won't spike your sugar much and keep you full. Just keep portions small.

Namaste. It is important to nourish your body with wholesome foods. For snacks, consider some fruits like an apple or guava, or maybe a small portion of chana (roasted chickpeas). Keep your mind peaceful and your plate balanced, and you will do well.

Listen, for diabetics, snacking has to be smart. Keep it protein and fiber rich. Think hard-boiled eggs, a small handful of mixed nuts, or even a cheese slice if you like. Veggies like cucumber, bell peppers, or carrots with a low-fat dip are great too. Always check your sugar after trying new snacks.

Ugh, the snack struggle is real, right?! I've found that sprouts chaat (without excess chutney) or a small bowl of makhana (fox nuts) can be super satisfying. And if you're craving something crunchy, a handful of roasted peanuts works too. Just don't overdo it!

My mother used to say, for healthy snacks, always choose natural. Maybe some fresh fruits like guava or pear. Or a small cup of buttermilk. My doctor also told me that a handful of groundnuts is good. Just small portions and avoid anything too sweet or fried.
