What can be taken for arthritis pain?

My knees have been aching terribly with arthritis, especially in this cold weather. I'm looking for things that can help relieve the pain. What are common remedies or treatments for arthritis pain?

For arthritis pain, aside from what doctors prescribe, I've heard that including anti-inflammatory foods in your diet, like ginger, turmeric, and berries, can be helpful. Avoid processed foods and excessive sugar. It’s not a cure, but it might help manage inflammation.

Honestly, a good night's sleep does wonders for any pain, including arthritis. But who gets good sleep these days? My doc also gave me some pain meds, but he stressed on regular, light exercise. My joints feel like old rusty hinges sometimes, yaar.

For acute pain, over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen or paracetamol can provide temporary relief, as advised by your doctor. But for long-term management, a rheumatologist will prescribe specific medications, possibly disease-modifying drugs, along with physio. It requires consistent effort, no quick fixes.

Dekho bhai, for arthritis pain, go to a good bone doctor (ortho). They will tell you what medicine to take. Don't listen to all home remedies for such serious pain. Proper medicines and maybe some physio, that's what works. Take care of your body.

With PCOS, I know how important it is to be careful with medications. For arthritis pain, please don't just take anything. A doctor will suggest specific pain relievers or anti-inflammatory drugs depending on your type of arthritis. Sometimes gentle exercises and hot compresses also help a lot.

My grandad uses some pain relief balms and he takes prescribed pills. He says hot water bag also helps a lot for temporary relief. But yeah, for proper treatment, he goes to his doc regularly. Don't take random stuff, check with a doctor first.

For arthritis pain? A good sense of humor, mostly! No, but seriously, my doctor told me some specific exercises and hot/cold packs help a lot. And sometimes, a good pain relief spray for immediate, localised relief. My joints are staging a protest, but I'm trying to negotiate!
