What blood tests are for cancer?

A close relative was recently diagnosed with cancer, and it got me thinking. Are there certain blood tests that can detect cancer? Or does it depend on the type of cancer?

I always get super anxious and think the worst even for small pains. From what I read, there are specific blood tests called tumor markers like CA-125 or PSA, but they aren't routine. Please consult a doctor instead of worrying like me.

See, normally direct cancer tests purely blood se nahi hote, haan, tumor markers hote hain thode. But biopsy and scans are main. Doctor se consult karna hi best hai, na?

Generally, tests like CBC can show some signs, but specific tumor marker blood tests are ordered based on symptoms. Definitely discuss your concerns with an oncologist.

Good health starts with clean home-cooked food and daily walk, but for serious things like cancer, blood tests alone aren't enough. They do tumor markers or biopsy depending on symptoms. Please go to a big hospital and get a proper checkup.

Beta, in my 65 years, I have seen that panic makes us run for unnecessary tests. Only a doctor can tell which specific blood markers or scans are needed based on your body's signals. Don't worry, trust the medical experts.

Let's be clear, there is no single 'cancer blood test' that screens everything. Doctors use specific markers like PSA for prostate or CA-125 for ovaries alongside scans. Skip the internet panic and book an appointment with a specialist.
