I totally get why you'd be asking this. For kidney function, they typically do a KFT (Kidney Function Test) or RFT (Renal Function Test). It measures things like creatinine, urea, and GFR. It's good you're being proactive about your health.

For kidney function, is it mainly the Creatinine and GFR test? I get so worried about my kidneys, my mom had some issues. Has anyone else felt this anxious about getting these tests done?

Oh, kidney function tests always make me a bit nervous! But yes, it's the KFT or RFT. They measure creatinine, urea, and sometimes uric acid, and also calculate GFR. It's good you're asking, knowing is better than worrying in silence.

My doctor explained that to check kidney function, they primarily look at a panel called the Renal Function Test (RFT) or Kidney Function Test (KFT). This includes Serum Creatinine, Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), and calculates the Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR). Electrolytes are also often part of it.

Please be very cautious if you suspect kidney issues. I had complications from ignoring symptoms. They do a KFT (Kidney Function Test) or RFT, which checks creatinine, urea, and estimated GFR. See a doctor urgently after the test, don't self-treat.

Hey! For kidney function, it's called a KFT, or Kidney Function Test. They check your creatinine, urea, and your GFR. It's a pretty straightforward test. Just talk to your doctor, they'll tell you exactly what's needed.

For kidney function, the RFT (Renal Function Test) or KFT is key. It measures creatinine and urea, and helps estimate GFR. A balanced vegetarian diet with proper hydration is so important for kidney health, alongside regular checkups.
