What autoimmune disease has a low grade fever?

I've been feeling generally unwell, with a low-grade fever that comes and goes, and my doctor is checking for autoimmune conditions. I'm curious if there's a specific one known for this. What autoimmune disease typically presents with a low-grade fever?

A low-grade fever often indicates some underlying inflammation in the body. While I usually lean towards natural ways to boost immunity, for autoimmune conditions, it's a different ball game. Diseases like Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritis are known for causing such fevers. If you have a persistent low fever along with other symptoms like joint pain or fatigue, please see a doctor. Natural remedies can support, but not diagnose or treat such serious conditions.

From what I've learned, several autoimmune diseases can present with a persistent low-grade fever. Lupus (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) is a classic example, as is Rheumatoid Arthritis, especially during flare-ups. Sometimes even inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's can cause it. It's important to remember that a low-grade fever with other symptoms warrants a visit to the doctor for proper diagnosis.

A low-grade fever, often defined as a body temperature between 99°F (37.2°C) and 100.4°F (38°C), is a common symptom in several autoimmune conditions. Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE or Lupus) is frequently associated with it, as is Rheumatoid Arthritis and sometimes even certain vasculitides. It signifies ongoing inflammation. If you have such a fever that doesn't go away, along with other symptoms, please get it evaluated by a doctor.

I totally get how unsettling a persistent low-grade fever can be, especially when you don't know why. Autoimmune diseases like Lupus (SLE) are well-known for causing this as the immune system is always active. Rheumatoid Arthritis can also present with it. It's your body telling you something's not right, so please listen and consult a doctor to investigate further.
