What are the warning signs of a kidney infection?

I've been having some pain and fever, and my friend suggested it might be a kidney infection. Before I go to the doctor, I want to know what are the typical warning signs of a kidney infection? Just curious.

Please don't start drinking barley water or coconut water thinking it will cure a kidney infection. Warning signs usually include high fever, severe lower back pain, and painful urination, which require proper antibiotics. Go to a doctor and get a urine test done instead of trusting random online WhatsApp forwards.

Beta, kidney infections usually start from a neglected UTI. If you feel a burning sensation when passing urine, pain in your side or back, and maybe even shivering with fever, don't wait around. Drink plenty of water but definitely consult a doctor for a proper course of medicine.

When my sister had severe chills and deep pain in her lower back, we took her to Fortis. The doctor clearly explained that kidney infections can escalate fast and cause permanent damage if not treated with IV fluids or proper antibiotics. Go to a good hospital and get a scan or culture test done.

Since I have high blood pressure, I always keep a track of my kidney health with regular blood and urine tests. A kidney infection can show up as cloudy or foul-smelling urine, fever, and constant back pain. Managing your lifestyle is great, but these acute signs need immediate medical attention.

Ghar ke nuskhe har baar kaam nahi aate bhai. Agar peshab karte waqt bohot jalan ho rahi hai, ya peeth me tez dard ke sath bukhar aa raha hai, toh turant doctor babu ko dikhao. Yeh kidney ka mamla ho sakta hai aur isme laparwahi bilkul nahi karni chahiye.

I totally get it, dealing with health scare doubts can be so stressful. If you are feeling constant nausea, high fever, or a sharp pain on one side of your lower back, it could be your kidneys crying for help. Please take care of yourself and don't delay getting a checkup.
