What are the types of thyroid cancer?

My sister was just diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and I'm trying to understand her condition better. The doctor mentioned a specific type, but I'm not clear on the others. What are the different types of thyroid cancer?

They are Papillary, Follicular, Medullary, and Anaplastic. Do not trust anyone online telling you that thyroid cancer can be cured with iodine drops or home remedies. Go to a reputed endocrinologist and get a biopsy done.

I absolutely panicked when my doctor mentioned checking for thyroid cancer. But I learned there are types like Papillary, Follicular, Medullary, and Anaplastic, and Papillary is the most common and highly treatable. Don't lose sleep, just get the proper tests done.

Papillary and Follicular are the main differentiated types. While I love using ginger tea and healthy herbs for minor throat issues, for anything like thyroid swelling, we must rely 100% on medical specialists and proper scans.

My father was diagnosed with Papillary thyroid cancer, which the doctor said is the most common type. There are other types like Follicular and Medullary too. His surgery went well and he is doing great now, but please consult your own doctor for advice.

The types are Papillary, Follicular, Medullary, and Anaplastic. I have a small swelling in my neck and I am so anxious thinking about this. Has anyone here had a thyroid nodule that turned out to be completely benign?
