What are the symtoms of typhoid fever?

My cousin's son has been having high fever for a few days, and the doctor said it might be typhoid. I'm worried about him. What are the common symptoms of this fever? Just want to know what to look out for.

I had typhoid last summer, and the main thing is a step-ladder fever that keeps rising every day, along with massive weakness and stomach pain. My advice is to get a blood test immediately instead of waiting, and focus heavily on boiled water and completely bland food like plain khichdi. Don't skip your antibiotic course even if you start feeling better.

Hey, don't stress too much, typhoid is very common and easily treatable. You will usually feel a continuous high fever, body ache, loss of appetite, and sometimes loose motions or constipation. Just get a quick blood test done, consult a doctor, and rest up.

Typhoid mein sharir bilkul toot jata hai, tez bukhar rehta hai jo utarta nahi, aur pet mein dard rehta hai. Hamein hamesha saaf paani ubal kar peena chahiye aur turant doctor babu ko dikhana chahiye. Aap jaldi theek ho jayenge, chinta mat kijiye.

Yes, a high step-ladder fever, headache, and severe fatigue are classic typhoid symptoms. Getting a Widal test done early helps your doctor prescribe the correct treatment.

Keep your spirits high and have faith. Typhoid causes a high fever, weakness, and digestive issues, but with proper medical care and a calm mind, the body heals beautifully. Please see a doctor and take good care of your health.
