What are the six signs of psoriatic arthritis?

My cousin was diagnosed with psoriasis, and his doctor said there's a chance it could turn into psoriatic arthritis. He's a bit worried, so I'm trying to find out what the six main signs of that condition are.

My health app actually lists the key signs as: joint pain and stiffness (especially in the morning), swollen fingers that look like sausages, scaly skin patches, changes in your nails like pitting, lower back pain, and constant fatigue. Tracking your morning stiffness duration can really help your doctor.

Don't stress too much, okay? The signs usually start with stiff joints and red, scaly skin patches, and some people get painful swelling in their toes and heels. If you have these, just see a rheumatologist to get a proper checkup. Take care!

Bro, for me, my fingers got so swollen they literally looked like sausages, and my heels hurt like crazy when I woke up. I also had tiny pits in my nails. If you have joint pain along with red skin patches, go to a specialist right away.

I am experiencing really stiff joints in the morning and my skin has some dry patches, but I wasn't sure if they are connected. Can this also cause severe lower back pain? I am a bit scared to go to the doctor, but I think I should.

I completely understand how overwhelming it feels when you start noticing these symptoms and searching online. The main signs to watch for are swollen sausage-like digits, joint stiffness, nail pitting, heel pain, fatigue, and scaly skin. Please don't panic, a doctor can help manage this beautifully.

My cousin had this and she thought her nail peeling was just from cheap nail polish, but it was actually a sign of psoriatic arthritis. Along with that, she had bad knee pain and fatigue. If you have joint pain and skin rashes together, definitely get it checked.
