What are the signs of arthritis in your feet?

My feet have started hurting a lot, especially in the mornings when I get out of bed. There's also some stiffness. I'm wondering if this could be arthritis. What are the typical signs of arthritis in the feet?

My fitness app showed my daily step count drastically dropping because of foot pain. If you notice swelling, stiffness in your big toe or ankle in the morning, and warmth in those joints, it could be arthritis. Definitely get a doctor to check it out early.

If pain in the balls of your feet or heels is messing up your squats and daily walks, it's a sign. Morning stiffness that takes time to loosen up is very common with foot arthritis. Keep active but get an expert medical opinion to avoid damaging the joints further.

Our feet bear our entire body weight, and morning stiffness or a dull ache in the foot joints is often the first sign of arthritis. Gentle ankle rotations can help, but please consult a doctor first. Getting a proper diagnosis will help you manage it safely.

I ignored a dull ache in my big toe for two years, thinking it was just tight shoes, and now I have permanent joint wear. If you feel pain, stiffness, or see redness and swelling in your foot joints, please go get an X-ray and see an orthopedic doctor immediately.

I was just reading up on this because my dad has been complaining about stiff feet in the morning. Apparently, pain when walking, swelling in the toe joints, and difficulty fitting into shoes are common signs of foot arthritis. It is definitely best to get it checked by a doc.

It is so frustrating when simply walking around your house starts to hurt so much. If your feet feel stiff, swollen, or hot to the touch, please know your pain is real and you don't have to just live with it. Do visit a doctor for a proper treatment plan.
