What are the signs of arthritis in the shoulder?

For the past few months, my right shoulder has been giving me a lot of trouble, especially when I try to lift things. My mother-in-law suggested it might be arthritis. What are the common signs of arthritis specifically in the shoulder joint?

At my age, even trying to wear a t-shirt feels like a gym workout! If you get a deep, dull ache in your shoulder and hear clicking sounds when you lift your arm, it might be arthritis starting. Better go see an orthopedist before you can't even reach for your chai.

I thought my shoulder pain was just from heavy gym sessions, but it turned out to be early joint wear. The main signs are stiffness in the morning, a grinding feeling inside the joint, and struggle while lifting your hand. Don't ignore it, get an X-ray done.

In my yoga practice, I often see people struggling with shoulder stiffness and a deep ache during gentle rotations. This gradual loss of movement and chronic pain are common signs of shoulder arthritis. Please consult an orthopedic doctor for a safe plan before starting any exercises.

If you are losing range of motion in your shoulder and pain is keeping you awake at night, it is a classic sign of arthritis. Skip the pain relief sprays and go see a good sports doctor or orthopedist. Get a proper diagnosis instead of guessing.

Warm oil massages and turmeric milk can help soothe mild stiffness, but they won't cure joint damage. If your shoulder pain is severe, grinding, or prevents you from moving your arm, you must get it checked by an orthopedic doctor. Don't rely only on home remedies.
