What are the side effects of lack of sleep?

My work schedule has been crazy lately, and I'm hardly getting any sleep, maybe 4-5 hours a night. I feel really drained. What are the common side effects or problems that can arise from chronic lack of sleep?

Actually, I have been sleeping only 4 hours a night due to college exams and now I feel dizzy and have a constant mild headache. Is this normal? I am a bit worried that it might affect my memory too.

A cup of warm chamomile tea or soaking your feet in warm water before bed can really help with mild insomnia. But if you are unable to sleep for weeks and it is causing severe anxiety or high blood pressure, please consult a specialist.

Lack of sleep absolutely ruins your focus and makes you super irritable. I totally feel your pain.

Not sleeping enough makes your brain feel very foggy and ruins your mood the next day. Please try to rest as much as you can and take things slowly today.

Haan yaar, agar dhang se soye nahi toh pura din kharab ho jata hai, na? Sirf headache aur acidity hoti hai din bhar. Try solving your schedule first, health is most important.

Beta, late-night screens are the root cause of this sleeplessness. A bad night's sleep leads to bad digestion, irritability, and dark circles. Try drinking a cup of warm turmeric milk before bed and keep your phone away to get sound sleep.
