What are the side effects of kidney problems?

My father has been having some health issues, and the doctor suspects kidney problems. We're waiting for more tests, but I want to understand what kind of symptoms or side effects one can expect when the kidneys are not functioning properly.

Kidney issues can cause subtle symptoms like swelling in the ankles and unexplained fatigue, which can seriously affect your work focus. Don't push through the tiredness thinking it is just office stress. Schedule a quick blood and urine test this weekend to check your creatinine levels.

Haan na, kidney problems are so scary. My uncle had puffiness around his eyes and his legs were swelling up a lot. People don't realize that high blood pressure can also happen because of this. Best to check with a doctor early, ho na?

Early-stage kidney disease is often asymptomatic, which is why it is called a silent condition. As it progresses, one may notice fluid retention, changes in urination frequency, and persistent nausea. It is essential to consult a nephrologist for proper diagnostic tests like KFT.

Please be very careful. My father had minor swelling in his feet which we ignored, and within a month, his kidney function dropped dangerously. If you notice a metallic taste in your mouth, extreme nausea, or less urine output, go to a hospital immediately.

When kidneys aren't functioning properly, toxins build up, causing muscle cramps and low energy during workouts. If you suspect any issues, you must cut down on high-protein supplements and check with a doctor first. Keep your hydration natural and simple.
