What are the side effects of heat stroke?

Last summer, my friend got really sick after spending too much time in the sun; the doctor said it was heatstroke. I want to be prepared this summer. What are the common side effects someone experiences with heatstroke?

I know how terrifying it feels when your heart rate jumps and you feel dizzy in the sun, it makes you panic instantly. A heat stroke is serious and can cause a very high body temperature, confusion, and nausea. Please seek emergency medical help if someone is showing these signs.

I was just reading an article about summer safety, and apparently, a heat stroke is a medical emergency. The side effects can be quite severe, like fainting, extreme headache, and even a complete lack of sweating despite the intense heat. It is definitely not something to take lightly.

While I haven't experienced it myself, my sister once got severely dehydrated in the Delhi summer. It can cause rapid breathing, a strong pulse, and severe weakness that takes days to recover from. Make sure to keep hydrating with electral or coconut water.

I literally got discharged from the hospital three days ago after a heat stroke. My body temperature shot up to 104, I fainted, and I had extreme vomiting. Do not ignore a mild headache or dry skin when working in the heat; it escalates very quickly.

Hey buddy, don't stress too much but definitely stay indoors during peak hours. A heat stroke can make you feel super dizzy, throw up, and get a nasty headache. Keep drinking nimbu paani and if anyone feels dizzy, get them into an AC room immediately!
