What are the normal levels for liver function tests?

I just got my annual health check-up results back, and everything looks okay, but I saw some numbers for 'liver function tests'. I'm curious, what are the normal levels for liver function tests?

My SGOT and SGPT levels came out around 55 last week and I've been so anxious since then. Has anyone else had slightly elevated liver enzymes that went back to normal with just basic diet changes?

I just received my first LFT report and the numbers look quite confusing with so many abbreviations. Could anyone tell me if slightly high SGPT is very dangerous, or is it normal to have minor variations?

Humare idhar doctor babu ne bataya tha ki bilirubin 1.2 se kam hona chahiye aur baki liver ke number bhi 40-50 ke andar hi acche hote hain. Aap chinta mat karo, samay par khana khao aur ek baar doctor ko dikha lo.

Normal range to har lab ki report ke side mein likhi hoti hai na, usually SGPT and SGOT under 40-50 high side pe Maante hain. Tension mat lo yaar, thoda oily food kam kar do aur doc ko dikha lo, sab set ho jayega.

Bilirubin and enzymes like SGPT thoda upar niche hota hai bad habits se, ho na. Usually SGPT under 50 is fine, but if it is higher, then doctor can guide best. Don't worry, just drink plenty of water and avoid outside food for a few days.
