What are the five stages of prostate cancer?

My friend's father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and I overheard them talking about 'stages'. I want to understand what that means for him. Can someone list the stages of prostate cancer?

Bro, don't stress too much reading up on the stages online! Mostly, prostate cancer is staged from 1 to 4, with Stage 1 being very tiny and inside the prostate, while Stage 4 means it has spread to bones or other areas. It is usually slow-growing, so stay positive!

My grandad was diagnosed with Stage 2 prostate cancer, which means the tumor was still inside the prostate but larger than Stage 1. They did a localized treatment and he is absolutely fine now. Just get a proper PSA test done for clarity.

Do not trust random herbs or internet charts claiming to cure or reverse prostate cancer stages. Staging requires accurate biopsy, MRI, or bone scans. Go see a qualified urologist or oncologist to understand the staging properly.

Eating tomato-based foods rich in lycopene is good for general prostate health, but it cannot cure any stage of cancer. If you are dealing with Stage 3 or 4 cancer, you must strictly follow the hospital's chemotherapy, hormone therapy, or surgery schedule.

In our family, we believe in staying calm and trusting our oncologists completely. Prostate cancer stages run from Stage I (early) to Stage IV (advanced). The treatment plans vary drastically for each stage, so discuss the details with your doctor.
