What are the first signs of lung cancer?

My uncle passed away from lung cancer, and I've been a smoker for many years. I'm trying to quit, but I'm also really anxious about my health. What are the very first signs of lung cancer that I should be aware of?

Oh god, I once had a persistent cough and panicked, thinking it was lung cancer, but it was just bronchitis! But seriously, with lung cancer, a cough that doesn't go away or gets worse, coughing up blood, chest pain, or shortness of breath are major red flags. Also, unexplained weight loss. Don't ignore these things, but also don't panic without a doctor's diagnosis.

As someone who monitors my BP closely, I know regular checkups are key. For lung cancer, watch out for a persistent cough that doesn't get better, shortness of breath, chest pain, or if you start coughing up blood. Lifestyle factors, especially smoking, play a big role. If you notice these, get an immediate checkup with a lung specialist.

Lung cancer ke liye, sabse pehle toh agar khansi theek na ho, aur blood bhi aaye khansi mein, toh serious hai. Saans lene mein takleef, ya chest mein dard ho toh bhi immediately doctor ko dikhao. Apne aap theek hone ka wait mat karo, bhai. Checkup is necessary.

Maintaining a healthy, vegetarian diet can support overall lung health, but it's not a cure-all. For lung cancer, symptoms like a new, persistent cough, coughing up blood, shortness of breath, and chest pain are very concerning. Also, feeling very tired or losing weight without trying can be signs. If you experience these, a doctor's visit is essential; diet alone cannot address such serious symptoms.

Excuse me, I'm new to this. I've heard that sometimes a person can get repeated lung infections like pneumonia or bronchitis. Can that also be a sign of lung cancer, or is it usually only the severe symptoms? Just trying to learn more.
