What are the different kinds of arthritis?

Both my knees ache constantly, especially when it rains. My doctor said it's a type of arthritis, but my neighbour has it in her hands, and it looks different. Are there different kinds of arthritis, or is it all the same?

Arre, arthritis is very common problem, beta. There is osteoarthritis, which is wear and tear, mostly seen in old age like me. Then there is rheumatoid arthritis, which is more serious and affects younger people sometimes too. Gout also causes joint pain. There are many types, but for any pain, always show a doctor.

Oh god, this is one of those things that make me overthink every little ache I feel! There's osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout... and so many more! It's so confusing. I just hope if anyone here has symptoms, they get it checked out quickly. It sounds really painful.

My own daughter has juvenile idiopathic arthritis, so I know this topic well. Besides the common ones like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid, there are many types that affect kids too. It's basically inflammation of the joints. What's important is early diagnosis and regular treatment to prevent long-term damage. Don't take joint pain lightly, especially in children.

Yaar, arthritis is basically joint inflammation, right? But actually, there are more than 100 types! Like, the common ones are osteoarthritis where the cartilage wears out. Then rheumatoid is autoimmune, where your own body attacks joints. Gout is due to uric acid. It's complicated, best to ask a doc if you have joint pain.

Understanding arthritis types is useful, but the core is timely intervention. Osteoarthritis is the common 'wear and tear' type. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition requiring specific management. Then there's psoriatic, gout, etc. For anyone with persistent joint pain, schedule a doctor's appointment. Don't self-diagnose or delay; it can lead to complications impacting work and daily life.

Yeah, arthritis is not just for old people, dude. My granddad has osteoarthritis, that's like joint wear and tear. But my cousin, she got rheumatoid arthritis in her 20s, that's an autoimmune one. So many types. If your joints hurt for long, just go to a doc, don't wait.
