What are the chances of getting pregnant with pcos?

I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago and now my husband and I are trying to conceive. I'm feeling really disheartened because everyone says it's very difficult. What are the actual chances of getting pregnant with PCOS?

I know how frustrating PCOS can be for getting pregnant. I tried so many things, from spearmint tea to regular walks. It's definitely harder, but not impossible. Many women with PCOS do conceive, sometimes with lifestyle changes, sometimes with medical help like ovulation induction. Don't lose hope, just keep trying different approaches with your doctor.

With PCOS, it can be a challenge, but don't lose heart. Keep a positive mindset, take good care of your body, and follow your doctor's advice. What is meant to be will be, but also, do your part diligently. Sometimes inner peace helps a lot in the journey.

My cousin struggled with PCOS for years before getting pregnant. My aunt told her to eat traditional, wholesome food, but the doctor's guidance with medication for ovulation really made the difference. So, it's possible, but definitely needs medical intervention and patience. Keep seeing your gynaecologist regularly.

PCOS does make it harder because of irregular ovulation, but it's not impossible. Many natural approaches like diet control and exercise help regularize cycles. However, if you are actively trying to conceive, it's really important to work with a doctor. They can suggest the right fertility treatments alongside any natural methods you try.

It's a journey that requires patience and self-care. Many women with PCOS do conceive, often with medical support. Gentle yoga, especially poses that focus on the pelvic area, and calming pranayama can help manage stress and support hormonal balance, which is vital for fertility. But do discuss your options with your doctor for a personalized plan.

PCOS often comes with insulin resistance, which is like a pre-diabetes state. Managing blood sugar levels through diet – low carbs, less sugar – and regular exercise is crucial, not just for overall health but also to improve fertility with PCOS. It really can increase your chances when combined with medical treatment. Talk to your endocrinologist and gynaecologist.
