For my diabetic uncle, we always look for shoes that are wide, soft, and have good cushioning. No tight spots or rough seams. Brands like Dr. Comfort or even some New Balance models have worked for him. Not medical advice, just what we found from experience.

Hey, don't stress too much about finding the 'best' brand! For diabetics, it's more about the features. Look for shoes with a wide toe box, good cushioning, no tight seams, and adjustable closures. Brands like Dr. Comfort or even some orthopedic lines from Bata or Liberty are pretty good and accessible. Comfort is key!

Diabetes mein pairon ka bohot dhyaan rakhna padta hai.

My podiatrist told me the key is spaciousness and cushioning. I had to ditch all my fashionable shoes. I now wear shoes with a deep, wide toe box, extra depth for custom orthotics (if needed), and very soft interiors. Dr. Comfort and certain Skechers models designed for comfort worked well for me. No seams inside that can cause rubbing!

My diabetologist stressed that diabetic footwear needs to prevent injury. They recommended shoes with ample room, particularly in the toe box, good shock absorption, firm heel counter, and soft, non-irritating lining. Therapeutic shoes are often prescribed, and brands specializing in diabetic foot care like Dr. Scholl's or certain orthopedic ranges are usually good choices.

As a general rule, for diabetics, you need shoes that are protective, comfortable, and reduce pressure points. Look for a wide and deep toe box, good arch support, cushioning, and seamless interiors to prevent rubbing. Also, avoid open-toed shoes. Always check your feet daily for any sores or blisters, even with good shoes.

Kuch brands special diabetic shoes banate hain, unhe try karo.

When I got diabetes, I realised how important good shoes are. My feet used to hurt a lot. What helped me was wearing shoes that are very soft from inside, not tight at all, and have proper support. Some special shoes are there for diabetics, look for them. And always wear socks, beta, always!
