What are the 5 types of arthritis?

My knees have been hurting quite a bit, especially in the mornings. My neighbour, who has arthritis, said there are many types. Can someone tell me what are the 5 types of arthritis so I can discuss it with my doctor?

My grandmother always said to keep joints oiled and move them daily, but arthritis is more complex. While some types like osteoarthritis are common, there are others like rheumatoid or psoriatic arthritis. For a proper diagnosis and understanding of the types, always trust a specialist doctor.

It's good to know the general types like OA and RA, but what's practical is to focus on what kind you might have, if any, and what the doctor says. Simple solutions are pain management, light exercises, and diet control specific to your type, not a general list.

From my own experience, the common ones people talk about are osteoarthritis (wear and tear), rheumatoid arthritis (autoimmune), psoriatic arthritis (related to psoriasis), gout (due to uric acid), and juvenile arthritis in kids. Each needs a specific approach, so get a clear diagnosis.

Arthritis can hit differently based on the type. I've heard of Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid, Psoriatic, Gout, and even Juvenile Arthritis. What's important is to keep your body active with gentle exercises like walking or swimming, if your doctor says it's okay, to help maintain joint health.

Haan, arthritis ke kaafi types hote hain. Mujhe toh bas OA aur RA hi pata tha pehle. Phir doctor ne bataya gout bhi hota hai aur psoriatic arthritis bhi. Basically, jo bhi ho, pain relief aur regular checkup important hai na?

It's good to be informed, but please don't get too stressed trying to identify which type. Like with PCOS, conditions can be complex. While knowing some types like osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis is helpful, a proper diagnosis from a rheumatologist is essential. They'll guide you.
