What are sleep disturbances?

I wake up multiple times during the night, and sometimes I have trouble falling back asleep. My husband says I snore loudly too. What are different types of sleep disturbances?

With PCOS, hormonal imbalances often cause sleep disturbances like waking up multiple times, night sweats, or struggling to fall asleep. It can be quite frustrating to deal with this every day. I try to maintain a screen-free routine before bed, but consulting a doctor is always best if it continues.

Honestly, sleep disturbances are basically when you keep tossing and turning all night or wake up feeling like a zombie. For me, it's usually scrolling too much on my phone or exam stress. Trying to sleep without my phone near me helps sometimes, but it's hard.

It's basically anything that breaks your sweet sleep cycle, like waking up suddenly or feeling super restless at night. A cup of warm chamomile tea or some light music before bed works wonders for me. Sleep tight and take care.

As we grow older, our sleep naturally gets lighter, and waking up early or having broken sleep is quite common. Don't let it worry you too much, as stress only makes it worse. Try to maintain a fixed sleeping time and keep your evening meals light.

Sleep disturbances mean your brain refuses to sleep at 2 AM but wants a deep nap during important office meetings! Whether it's snoring, waking up to pee, or just plain insomnia, it is extremely draining. If it happens daily, better see a doc before you lose all your patience.

Sleep disturbances can range from sleep apnea to chronic insomnia, which are proper medical issues. When my sleep was severely broken, my hospital doctor recommended a sleep study test to find the root cause. Please get a professional medical opinion instead of ignoring it.
