What are normal kidney levels?

My doctor recently said my kidney function tests were borderline. I'm trying to understand what that means. What are considered normal kidney levels?

I got scared seeing my creatinine at 1.2, but the doctor said it's totally normal for my body weight. Usually, creatinine for men is 0.7 to 1.3, and slightly lower for women. Don't panic just looking at the report numbers.

Creatinine levels usually 1.2 ke andar honi chahiye, aur BUN level 7-20 ke beech. Sahi baat hai na, agar thoda bhi upar neeche ho toh tension ho jati hai. Get a proper KFT done from a good lab.

I agree with others, serum creatinine should be below 1.2. Make sure you are not taking random painkiller pills often, as they can hurt kidney function.

As a diabetic, I have to watch my kidney function very closely. Creatinine should ideally be below 1.2 mg/dL. I avoid eating too much heavy protein and salty foods to keep my kidneys safe.

I recently had a kidney scare due to severe dehydration, and my creatinine touched 1.4. But after proper IV fluids and rest, it came back to 0.8. Keep yourself hydrated, it makes a huge difference.

Keep creatinine under 1.2 and your kidneys are happy! Don't Google too much or you'll think you need a transplant by tonight. Just let your doctor read the actual report!

Creatinine normal level is around 0.6 to 1.2. Haan na, we always worry so much after reading reports. Just drink enough water daily and keep checking with your family doctor.

If your creatinine is under 1.2 mg/dL, you are generally in the green zone. I always tell people that keeping active with 45 minutes of daily brisk walking is great for blood pressure, which in turn protects your kidneys.
