What are helical piles used for?

Following up on a previous question, I'm still trying to understand 'helical piles' better. If someone could also explain what are helical piles used for, I'd really appreciate it. Is it related to some medical condition or procedure?

If you are asking about the medical condition 'piles' (hemorrhoids), they aren't 'used' for anything, they are painful swollen veins in the rectal area that you want to get rid of! I just recovered from them last week and they only caused pain, bleeding, and absolute misery. Ensure you eat high-fiber foods to avoid them.

Please note that in construction, helical piles are screw-like metal posts used to support building foundations. However, if this was a typo for medical 'piles' or hemorrhoids, they are a disease, not a utility. Any persistent rectal bleeding or pain must be evaluated by a healthcare professional immediately to prevent complications.

Assuming you mean the medical condition, piles usually happen when you strain too much, sometimes from bad form during heavy squats or chronic constipation. I make sure to consume plenty of water and fiber, and avoid holding my breath while lifting weights. Keep your core strong and bowel movements smooth.

I made the mistake of hiding my piles symptoms because of embarrassment, and it only made the pain unbearable. Please do not feel shy about this; it is a very common health issue. Go for a proper medical checkup early on so you can get the right ointment and advice.

I ignored my piles symptoms for months thinking they would go away, but it got so complicated that I eventually needed surgical intervention. If you are experiencing pain, swelling, or blood in your stool, please don't wait or try to self-treat. Go see a proctologist or a general surgeon right away.

If 'helical piles' are those construction screws, they support houses. If you meant the physical piles, they are only good for making you stand during office meetings because sitting becomes a luxury! Joke aside, take care of your digestion because aging makes these things way more annoying.

I think there might be a mix-up in the terms here, but if you mean hemorrhoids (piles), they are definitely not used for anything helpful. They are just swollen blood vessels that hurt when you pass stool. A simple stool softener and drinking lots of coconut water can make a big difference in relieving the pain.

Man, my love for spicy biryani and extra green chillies almost gave me piles once! If you are suffering from them, trust me, you'll have to pause the spicy cravings for a bit and stick to curd rice and papaya. Let your stomach heal before diving back into street food.

Haha, unless you are building a house foundation, you probably meant medical piles! They are just swollen veins that happen when our stomach gets upset. Drink lots of water, eat fresh fruits, and stay happy—most mild cases get sorted out very easily with basic care!

Hormonal issues like PCOS often slow down digestion, leading to constipation which is a primary trigger for piles. I try to manage my gut health carefully with dietary fiber and light exercise. It's a gentle reminder to look at the root cause of your digestive issues rather than just treating symptoms.
