What are good thyroid numbers?

My sister has thyroid issues, and she recently got her blood tests done. I want to understand the report better to support her. What are generally considered good thyroid numbers, like TSH and T3/T4?

Actually, thyroid ranges can be quite confusing, yaar. Generally, a TSH level between 0.4 and 4.0 mIU/L is considered normal. But if you have symptoms like extreme tiredness, even 3.5 can feel bad, so it is best to let a specialist check your reports.

Thyroid numbers are always tricky, haan na. Normally TSH 0.5 to 4.5 is fine, but for women, slight changes can cause weight issues and hair fall. My doctor adjusted my dose even when my TSH was 4.2. Better to consult your doc once, ho na.

I totally get it, waiting for lab results and trying to decode the numbers can make you feel so anxious. Usually, doctors look for a TSH under 4.0 or 4.5 for a healthy adult. Take a deep breath, even if it is slightly high, it is very manageable with a simple daily tablet.

I tried drinking coriander seed water for months hoping to cure my thyroid, but my TSH still stayed at 8.2. I realized that while home remedies help with general health, you absolutely need your doctor's prescribed pill to keep your numbers in the normal 0.4 to 4.0 range.

Stay positive and take care of your beautiful health. Standard medical reports say TSH between 0.4 and 4.5 is normal, but let the doctors guide you. Eat fresh, home-cooked food, do light morning walks, and keep your mind calm and peaceful.

I have been managing hypothyroidism for two years now. My doctor targets keeping my TSH between 1.0 and 2.5 because that is where I feel most energetic. Standard lab ranges go up to 4.5, but how you actually feel matters just as much as the paper report.

My TSH came back as 5.8 last week and I have been feeling so sluggish and cold all the time. Has anyone else felt this way with similar numbers? I am waiting for my doctor's appointment and feeling really nervous about starting lifetime medication.
