What are good liver numbers?

I had a routine health check-up, and my liver function test results came back. The report has so many values, so I'm a bit confused. Could someone tell me what are considered good liver numbers, generally?

Hey, don't worry too much about the lab terms. Generally, an SGOT and SGPT below 40-50 units per liter is considered normal. If your numbers are slightly high, it's often just a sign to improve your diet and reduce stress, but let your doctor look at it.

I absolutely panicked when my SGPT came back at 75 last year! But my doctor reassured me, told me to cut down on junk food, and it came back to normal in two months. So don't lose sleep over slight elevations; just focus on healthy eating.

I was looking this up recently after my annual health checkup. For a healthy liver, Bilirubin should be under 1.2 mg/dL, and Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) should ideally be between 44 to 147. It is quite interesting how these small enzymes show how well the liver filters things.

In my sixty years, I have seen that keeping active keeps these numbers in check. Your Bilirubin should remain under 1.2, and liver enzymes SGOT/SGPT should ideally be under 40. Don't stress over minor variations, just keep your meals simple and home-cooked.

With our busy schedules, getting an LFT (Liver Function Test) once a year is super practical. Normal SGPT is usually under 50, and Albumin should be between 3.5 and 5.0. If you sit at a desk all day like me, these numbers can creep up, so regular screening is key.

An SGPT level below 40 U/L and Bilirubin below 1.2 are generally what doctors consider safe. Try to rest well and eat clean home foods; things usually settle down nicely.

Haan yaar, liver test reports dekh ke darr to lagta hi hai na. Bilirubin 1.2 se kam hona chahiye aur SGPT/SGOT 45 se upar nahi jana chahiye normal cases mein. Agar thoda upar-neeche hai toh tension mat lo, doctor se baat karo.

My uncle always recommended drinking barley water for liver health, but I prefer relying on proper medical tests. My doctor confirmed that keeping SGPT below 45 and Albumin levels high is the real indicator of a healthy liver. Always trust the lab reports over rumors.

If you lift weights or consume high protein, sometimes your SGOT/SGPT can show slightly elevated levels, which is normal muscle wear. But generally, keeping them under 50 U/L is the goal. Keep your hydration on point and avoid unnecessary supplements.

I am not qualified to give medical values, but during my last physical, my SGPT was 35 and my doctor said everything looked great. I just try to eat fresh food and limit fried snacks to keep my liver happy.

I log my bi-annual health test data on my fitness app to track trends. Safe ranges for LFT are: Bilirubin 0.2-1.2 mg/dL, SGPT 7-56 U/L, and ALP 44-147 U/L. Tracking these digitally helps you see how lifestyle changes actually impact your internal health.

No need for expensive liver detox drinks to fix your numbers. Just keep your SGPT and SGOT under 50 by avoiding outside oily food and drinking enough clean water daily. A simple walk after dinner does wonders for fatty liver.
