What are five warning signs of a stroke?

My mother recently had a mini-stroke, and it was a really scary experience. The doctor mentioned some warning signs that could have been noticed earlier. What are the five key warning signs of a stroke that everyone should know?

Stay positive and take care of your body, it is a temple. Some major warning signs are sudden numbness in the limbs, difficulty in speaking, sudden blurry vision in one eye, severe headache with no known cause, and dizziness. Keep peace in your mind and never ignore these signs, always rush to the hospital immediately.

Since I have high BP, my doctor warned me about this clearly. You have to watch out for sudden face drooping on one side, arm weakness where you cannot lift it, slurred speech, sudden confusion, and trouble walking or balance issues. Please keep a BP monitor at home and get regular checkups done, it really helps track risks.

Think of it practically: any sudden weakness on one side of the body is a major red flag. Other signs are sudden slurred speech or difficulty understanding words, loss of balance, trouble seeing, and a sudden, extremely painful headache. If you notice even one of these, don't wait for a doctor's appointment—go straight to the emergency room.

I was researching this after a family discussion, and they use the acronym FAST. Watch out for face dropping, arm weakness, and speech difficulty—these three are huge. Also, sudden severe headache and trouble seeing or walking are critical warning signs. It is a medical emergency, so no waiting around for it to pass.

No need to panic, but do not ignore your body if it acts weird. Look out for a sudden crooked smile, one arm refusing to lift like it is on strike, slurred speech that sounds like a bad connection, sudden dizziness, and a massive headache. If you or someone else has these, skip the Google search and call an ambulance immediately.
