What age does type 2 diabetes usually start?

My father got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in his late 40s, and now my elder brother is also showing some borderline signs in his mid-30s. I'm a bit worried for myself. What's the usual age for type 2 diabetes to start showing up?

I was actually reading about this yesterday because my uncle got diagnosed. It used to be seen mostly in adults over 45, but apparently, it is starting much earlier now even in late 20s.

I know how stressful it is to worry about getting diabetes, especially if it runs in the family. Please breathe, knowing the facts helps us take charge instead of just panicking.

My cousin got diagnosed at 28, so it definitely doesn't wait for old age anymore. It is all about our diet and desk jobs, so let's start making small changes in our daily routine.

Usually, it is noticed around middle age, but it can vary. Try not to worry too much and just focus on eating healthy meals every day.

In my experience, metabolic imbalances can start in the 30s due to internal stress. Daily practice of Mandukasana and deep breathing has helped many keep their sugar levels stable naturally.

I got type 2 diabetes at 42. Trust me, it is very manageable if you cut down on direct sweets and walk 30 minutes after dinner. Get a simple HbA1c blood test to know your exact status.

In our days, this was a disease of the 50s. Drinking lukewarm water with a spoon of methi powder in the morning is very good for digestion, but do check with your doctor for proper medicines.
