Not drinking enough water was my biggest mistake, ended up with severe dehydration and kidney strain. Also, taking random pain killers like candy really messes up your system. Now I drink at least 3 liters of water daily and avoid self-medicating.

Beta, high blood pressure and diabetes are the silent enemies of your kidneys. I have had diabetes for 20 years now, and keeping my sugar strictly under control is what has saved my kidneys. Do your annual checkups without fail.

Haan na, high salt in our spicy food is so bad for health but we don't realize it early. Over time it puts so much load on the kidneys. Thoda low salt diet and regular walks are always good to start with.

All that processed food, frozen snacks, and high protein shakes we gulp down without thinking definitely affects the kidneys. I love my butter chicken and heavy meals, but now I balance it out with plenty of fresh water and less packaged junk.

I have been managing chronic kidney disease for five years. The main culprits are uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, and abusing NSAIDs/painkillers. Get a simple serum creatinine and urine routine test done once a year to stay safe.

Ghar ka khana aur dher saara paani sabse accha hota hai. Hamare yahan toh log dhoop mein kaam karte hain par paani peena bhool jaate hain, tabhi stone ki bimari hoti hai. Khane mein namak kam rakhiye aur khush rahiye.

I got my routine blood report last year and my creatinine was slightly high, I totally panicked thinking my kidneys were failing. But my doctor said it was just mild dehydration because of summer heat. Drank water, retested after a week, and everything was perfectly normal!

My grandmother always tells us to drink barley water and tender coconut water to clear the system, which is great. But for actual kidney health, keeping blood pressure in check is crucial. Definitely consult a proper doctor if you notice swelling in your feet.
