Should you take a bath with a fever?

I've got a mild fever and feeling quite unwell. My wife says I shouldn't take a bath, but I feel so sticky. Is it okay to take a bath when you have a fever, or should I avoid it completely?

Oh god, I always wonder this! On one hand, I feel so yucky and want to feel clean. But then I worry if getting wet will make the fever worse or give me a cold. Maybe a quick lukewarm sponge bath is the safest option? What do others do?

Yaar, I usually take a quick lukewarm shower if I have a fever. Actually, it makes me feel so much better and fresher, helps cool down a bit too. But not with super cold water haan, that's not good. Just normal tap water that's not too cold.

Beta, hamare zamane mein toh kehte the nahana nahi chahiye. Lekin ab doctors kehte hain halka gunguna paani se sponge kar lo ya jaldi se naha lo. Main toh kehti hoon, jismein shareer ko aaram mile, wahi karo. Bas thande paani se bachna.

I feel so gross when I have a fever, but I'm always scared to take a full bath. Does anyone else get really anxious about it? I usually just do a quick wipe-down with a damp cloth, feels a bit safer.

After a good comforting dal chawal when you're sick, a quick, lukewarm bath actually feels amazing, like a fresh start! Just don't make it too hot or too cold, and dry yourself immediately. Feels so much better than being sticky.
