Should you scratch dandruff?

My scalp has been super itchy lately because of dandruff. I know it's probably not good, but sometimes I just can't resist scratching. Is scratching dandruff really that bad for your scalp and hair?

No, beta, scratching dandruff will only irritate your scalp more and can even cause small wounds, which is not good. It can make the problem worse. Try a good anti-dandruff shampoo or a little pure aloe vera gel, but be gentle. If it's very bad, show it to a doctor.

Ah, the eternal struggle! Scratching dandruff feels like a mini-victory for a second, right? But then you're left with more flakes and possibly an angry scalp. So, no, definitely don't scratch! Your scalp will thank you by not throwing a bigger snowstorm.

I used to panic thinking scratching would make me bald or something! But no, while it won't do that, it definitely irritates the scalp and can cause wounds. So, resist the urge. Use a good anti-dandruff product and gently massage. It will get better, don't worry!

Yaar, absolutely not! It feels so satisfying for a second, but actually, it just makes your scalp more irritated and can even lead to cuts and infection. Use a good anti-dandruff shampoo and be gentle. Don't scratch, please!

Dekho, bhai/behen, scratching is not a solution. It might give temporary relief but it will irritate your scalp, spread the flakes, and can even cause infection. Use a proper anti-dandruff shampoo. That's the only way to deal with it, not by scratching.

Agreed with everyone here, don't scratch! It just makes it worse and can damage your scalp.
