Should u sweat out a fever?

My daughter has a fever, and my grandmother keeps saying we should make her sweat it out by covering her with blankets. Is that actually a good idea? Should you try to sweat out a fever?

Hey! Honestly, don't stress too much about 'sweating it out'. Just focus on bringing your fever down safely. Take proper meds if needed and keep yourself hydrated. Listen to your body, not old wives' tales, ya know?

Ho na, people always say 'sweat it out'. But actually, it's more important to cool your body down if the fever is high. Light clothes, sponge bath, and plenty of water are better than bundling up and getting hotter. Haan na, be careful.

It's best to let your body regulate its temperature naturally. Focus on resting well and staying hydrated. If the fever is making you very uncomfortable, speak to a doctor for advice.

Sweating is a natural body response, but you shouldn't *force* it. If your fever is high or persistent, it's always safer to get it checked by a doctor. Trying to 'sweat it out' might just dehydrate you further, which is not good.

Oh, please don't just try to sweat it out. I did that once thinking it would help, and my fever just shot up higher. Ended up feeling much worse. It's really important to get it checked and find out the cause, then take proper medication. Don't make my mistake!
