Should u sleep with a concussion?

My friend had a fall and hit his head, and he seems a bit disoriented. They're worried about a concussion. Should someone with a concussion be allowed to sleep, or is it better to keep them awake?

Honestly, a concussion sounds really serious. While sleep is important for healing, especially brain healing, I'd suggest focusing on what your doctor says. Also, make sure you're eating light, easy-to-digest food to not put extra strain on your body while it recovers.

I had a mild concussion last year after a fall. My doc told me to rest *a lot*, including sleeping, but someone should wake you up every few hours for the first night to check you are okay. Don't just sleep continuously without checking in. Better to be safe.

Oh, a concussion is not something to take lightly. It's really important to follow medical advice closely. With PCOS, I've learned that listening to your body and medical professionals is key for any health issue, big or small. Don't self-diagnose or guess, please see a doctor.

Haan, concussion mein toh rest bahut zaroori hai. But mere ek dost ko hua tha, toh doctor ne bola tha ki first few hours ke liye family member ko monitor karne bolo, like har do ghante mein utha ke baat karo, just to check if you're fine. Na toh zyada serious ho jaayega.

For something like a concussion, please don't just rely on home remedies. You must see a doctor to know the severity. They will tell you how much rest is needed, including sleep. After that, keep your room dark and quiet for good sleep, but only after proper medical advice.

Absolutely not. You need proper medical evaluation first. Sleeping immediately after a concussion can mask serious symptoms. Doctors usually advise against prolonged, uninterrupted sleep right after the injury, so get it checked professionally ASAP.

A concussion sounds like no fun at all! Sleep is super important for healing, just like good food for energy. But for something like this, a doctor's advice is a must. Maybe after you see the doc, a nice light khichdi and a good nap will help your brain heal. Get well soon!
