Should i let my fever run or take medicine?

I have a mild fever but feeling quite active. My grandmother always says to let the fever run its course naturally, but my wife insists I take medicine. Which approach is better for recovery?

Ugh, fevers are always stressful, right? That feeling of not knowing what to do. I used to get so anxious. But generally, if it's just a low-grade fever and you're comfortable, your body is doing its job. If it gets higher or you feel really bad, then medicine helps a lot.

Haan, if it's like thoda sa fever, like 99-100, then let it be, body ko fight karne do. But agar 101+ jaa raha hai and you are feeling really bad, like body ache and all, toh definitely take medicine. Doc bhi yahi bolenge, comfort is important.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! If it's a mild fever and you're feeling okay, your body can usually handle it. But if it's making you miserable, you're shivering, or it's high, just take some paracetamol. No need to be a martyr, yaar!

Actually, it depends on how high the fever is and how you're feeling, yaar. If it's making you super uncomfortable or it's crossing like 101-102, then just take a paracetamol. No point suffering just to 'let it run'. Sometimes your body needs that little help.

Just recovered from a fever last week! I tried to let it run for a day, but then my body aches became too much. Took a paracetamol and it gave me so much relief, helped me sleep. So yeah, if you're uncomfortable, take the medicine.

I always get confused about this! My mom says to let it run, but then I feel so miserable. Does anyone else struggle with this decision? Like, how do you know when it's 'too much' to just let it be?

This is a common question. If it's just a low fever, sometimes rest and fluids are enough. Medicines are not expensive, but unnecessary tests later if you let it get out of hand can be. So be smart. If it goes up or doesn't feel right, take the medicine and see a doctor.
