Should i go to work with a migraine?

Woke up with a throbbing migraine, it's really affecting my concentration. I have an important client meeting today. Should I try to power through and go to work, or is it better to take the day off?

Honestly, if I could function with a migraine, I wouldn't be sleep-deprived in the first place, haha. No, seriously, if it's a real migraine, not just a headache, you probably won't be productive anyway. Better to rest up.

See, pushing through a migraine is just going to make it worse, and your performance will suffer. Focus on recovery. Hydrate well, maybe some light stretching if you can manage later, but don't force work. Your body needs to reset.

Oh, migraine is a very serious thing, akkha. My amma always says to lie down in a dark room. If it's really bad, please consult your doctor. Don't push yourself to work, it's not good for your health.

Oh no, a migraine sounds terrible. I get bad headaches sometimes, but a migraine is different, right? I heard people can't even see properly. Has anyone here ever tried to work with one? How did you even manage?

When a migraine strikes, the body is signaling for deep rest. Going to work can intensify the pain and delay recovery. Try gentle breathing exercises in a quiet space if you can, and allow yourself the grace to heal.

Beta, if your head is hurting so much, how will you work? Just rest at home. Work can wait. Drink some hot ginger tea, put a cloth on your head. Health is more important than office, hai na?
