Should i feed my newborn after vomiting?

My newborn just vomited a little bit of milk after her feed. She seems fine now, but I'm unsure if I should offer her more milk right away or wait. Should I feed my newborn after vomiting?

Oh, the joys of newborn parenthood! One minute they're fine, next it's a fountain. My advice? Don't feed right away unless you want a repeat performance. Give it like, 30 mins to an hour, then maybe a tiny bit. And pray. Just pray it stays down this time.

Bro, my cousin's baby did this. We waited a bit, like 20-30 minutes. Then tried giving very little milk. If it's just a small spit-up, it's one thing, but proper vomiting means their tummy is upset. Better to let it chill a bit first.

Ho na, it's worrying to see them like that. After vomiting, it's usually better to wait for some time, 30 mins minimum. Their stomach needs to settle. Then try with a small quantity of feed. If they seem okay, gradually increase. But if baby is not well, then doc ko dikhao.

It's so alarming, I remember freaking out when my little one did it. But most of the time, it's okay. Just give them a good 30-45 minutes for their tummy to settle. Then, you can try giving them small sips of whatever you feed them, rather than a full meal. If they're otherwise active and happy, it's usually not a big deal. But if they're limp or dull, then talk to the doc.

I'm not a doctor, so I can only share what I did with my kids. After they vomited, I'd usually wait about an hour. Then, I'd offer breastmilk or formula in very small amounts, much less than their usual feed, to see if they could keep it down. If they did, then I'd slowly increase. But if they seemed sick or kept vomiting, I'd definitely call the pediatrician.

Newborns are tiny but their puke power is sometimes legendary! Haha. Best not to immediately re-fuel the tiny volcano. Give it 30-60 minutes. See if they seem hungry and then try a small feeding. If they're happy and alert otherwise, usually it's fine. But if it's too much, call your doc!

My doctor always emphasizes caution with health, especially for infants. While I manage my thyroid with regular check-ups, for a newborn vomiting, it's critical to observe. It's usually advised to wait before feeding again. If vomiting is continuous or baby is lethargic, please consult your pediatrician. Early intervention is key.
