May national mental health awareness month?

Someone at work was talking about 'May national mental health awareness month' and I'm a bit confused. Is it just for one country or is it recognized globally? I want to educate myself more on this topic.

My doctor actually explained to me that mental health is just as important as physical health, and it's not a 'luxury' but a necessity. He said awareness months help reduce stigma and encourage people to seek help without shame. It's about early detection and management, like any other health issue. There's so much good info online from proper sources now.

Haan, mental health awareness is very important. I've found that a few minutes of pranayama and gentle yoga every day really helps to calm the mind. It's not a cure-all, but it brings a sense of peace that can be very helpful when things feel overwhelming. Just breathing right can make a big difference, honestly.

It's good that these things are getting talked about more. For me, just making sure I get enough sleep and eating ghar ka khana helps a lot with my mood. Also, taking a short walk outside daily, even if it's just to the corner shop. Simple things, but they add up to make you feel better mentally.

Mental health awareness month, huh? Guess it's a reminder to tell myself I'm doing great, even if my brain sometimes acts like a toddler throwing a tantrum. But seriously, it's cool that we're finally saying it's okay not to be okay. Next time my mind plays 'guess the worst-case scenario', I'll remind it it's May!

Honestly, I used to panic a lot about small things, thinking something was seriously wrong with my head. Then I realised many people feel similar stuff. Talking about it, even online, made it feel so much more normal. This awareness month really helps in showing that it's okay to seek help and you're not alone.

I ignored my stress and anxiety for too long, thinking it would just go away. It didn't. It only got worse and started affecting my physical health too. Please, if you feel something is off, don't wait. Get it checked out by a professional. It's not a weakness, it's taking care of yourself. I wish I hadn't waited.

Haan beti, mental health is very important, just like body health. In our times, we used to talk to elders or do puja path. Now people have more tension. Try to keep your mind calm. Some people find shanti with a little haldi doodh at night, it calms the nerves. But if it's very bad, then a doctor is good to see.
