Is yogurt good for diabetes 2?

I've been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes recently and trying to manage my diet. Can I include yogurt in my daily meals, or is it something I should limit?

It's completely normal to feel anxious about what to eat with diabetes type 2. I used to be the same way. Plain, unsweetened yogurt can actually be a good option because it's low in carbs and high in protein, which helps manage blood sugar. Just make sure it's not the sugary kind.

Hey! Don't stress too much, yaar. For type 2 diabetes, plain yogurt, especially Greek yogurt, is generally considered fine. It has good protein and can be good for your gut. Just avoid any flavored or sweetened ones, they have way too much sugar. Always check the labels!

Stay positive, dear. Taking care of your health is a form of self-love. Unsweetened dahi can be a part of a balanced diet for diabetes, as it's low GI. But remember, moderation is key for everything. And always listen to your doctor's guidance, that's paramount.

Look, with diabetes, you can't just follow random advice from online forums. Yogurt might be okay for some, but not all types or in all quantities. Please talk to your diabetologist or a certified dietitian. They can tell you exactly what's good for YOUR specific condition and blood sugar levels. Don't risk it.

Haan, plain homemade dahi is usually a good bet for diabetes type 2. It's cheap, easily available, and has good bacteria. Just make sure you don't add sugar. You can have it with some cucumber or a pinch of black salt. Simple and effective, but always check with your family doctor once.
