Is yellow fever viral or bacterial?

My son was learning about diseases in school and he asked me about yellow fever. I'm not sure, is yellow fever caused by a virus or by bacteria?

Hey, don't worry too much about it. Yellow fever is a viral infection, spread by mosquitoes. Just be careful with mosquito bites, especially if you're traveling to high-risk areas.

My doctor actually explained this to me recently because I was confused. Yellow fever is definitely viral, caused by the yellow fever virus. It's not bacterial at all. There's a vaccine available for it if you're planning any travel.

Oh, I totally get why you're asking! I used to get so stressed about every little health thing. Just to put your mind at ease, yellow fever is indeed viral. It's good to be informed, so don't feel silly for asking.

Ha ha, not a dish you want to try, that's for sure! It's viral, ji. Definitely not bacterial like some food poisoning. Stay safe, eat good food, and avoid those pesky mosquitoes!

Been there, done that. It's viral, bhai. Mosquito-borne. If you're traveling to places where it's common, make sure you get the vaccine. It's a single shot and lasts a long time. Prevention is key.
