Is weed good for asthma?

I've had asthma since childhood, and it can be quite debilitating. A friend suggested that some people find relief from asthma symptoms by using weed. Is weed actually good for asthma, or could it make it worse?

Arey nahi bhaiya, asthma mein toh dhuen se door rehna chahiye. Kisi bhi tarah ka dhuan fefdo ko aur nuksan pahunchata hai. Aap turant doctor babu ko dikhayein aur inhaler ka istemal karein.

I panicked so much when my brother thought about trying this for his breathing issues, fearing it would trigger a major attack. But we consulted his pulmonologist who reassured us that inhalers are the only safe way and smoking anything will only worsen asthma. Don't worry, just stick to the standard medical treatment.

Bro, smoking weed is literally the worst thing you can do if you have asthma. It completely irritates your lungs and can trigger a massive attack out of nowhere. Stick to your prescribed inhaler and stay away from smoke.

I go to Fortis Hospital for my chronic respiratory checkups, and smoking of any kind is strictly forbidden for asthma patients as it triggers broncho-spasms. Please ask your doctor clearly about this because it can lead to a severe emergency.

Excuse me, but doesn't any kind of smoke block the windpipes and make breathing harder? I am quite new to managing asthma, but I thought keeping the lungs clean was the main goal. Is there any doctor-approved medicine that is safer?
