Is walnut good for kidney?

My father has some kidney issues and we're looking for natural foods that might help. Someone suggested walnuts, but I want to be sure. Are walnuts really good for kidney health?

Honestly, walnuts have good fats but they also contain oxalates, which might not be great if you are prone to kidney stones. I eat like 2-3 walnuts daily just for general health, but don't eat too many of them.

Walnuts are amazing for your brain and heart! But if you have any existing kidney issues, it is best to check with your doctor because nuts are rich in potassium and phosphorus too. Stay healthy and hydrated! 😊

I have been managing my kidney health for years now. While walnuts are healthy, patients with advanced kidney issues need to restrict phosphorus and potassium, which walnuts have in decent amounts. Keep your portion size to just one or two nuts a day, or ask your renal dietitian.

Every day there is a new superfood to keep track of, it is exhausting! Walnuts are good, but if you eat them like peanuts while watching TV, your kidneys might complain about the high load. Moderation is the only realistic way to survive these health tips.

Please don't try to treat any kidney pain or issues with just home remedies like eating walnuts. Years ago, I ignored mild back pain thinking it was a muscle catch, and it turned out to be a severe kidney stone infection. Go get a proper urine test and ultrasound if you feel any symptoms.
