Is vomiting blood normal?

I had a really bad cough for the past few days, and this morning I vomited a little, and it seemed to have some blood in it. Is vomiting blood ever considered normal, especially after a lot of coughing?

Oh god, seeing blood in vomit would honestly make me pass out from anxiety. It is definitely not normal and could be dangerous. Please don't google any more symptoms and just go to an emergency room immediately.

I can tell you from my own life experience that when I threw up blood, it was due to a severe stomach ulcer that required urgent medical treatment. It is definitely not normal and needs a doctor's care immediately.

I was researching medical symptoms for a college project, and vomiting blood is listed as a major red-flag symptom. It is never normal and can indicate internal bleeding. Please see a doctor right away.

I am surviving on 3 hours of sleep, but even my tired brain knows that vomiting blood is a massive red flag. Stop reading online replies and go get checked at a hospital right now.

Unless you just ate a whole red velvet cake and forgot about it, throwing up blood is definitely not normal! Jokes aside, please close this app and go see a doctor immediately.
