Is vomiting a symptom of mono?

My friend has been really tired and having a sore throat for a while, and he just vomited. He's worried about mono. Is vomiting a symptom of mono?

I have been feeling so nauseous and threw up twice today. My doctor suspected Mononucleosis because of my swollen glands. Did anyone else experience vomiting when they had mono, or is it just me?

While extreme fatigue and sore throat are the classic signs of mono, nausea and occasional vomiting can happen due to an enlarged spleen or liver inflammation. Keep yourself well hydrated with ORS. If you feel sudden abdominal pain, see a doctor immediately.

In our days, we called these heavy viral fevers. If you are vomiting, do not force heavy meals; give light rice gruel (kanji) with a little salt. But remember, mono requires complete rest for weeks, so do not rush your recovery.

Hey, don't stress too much! Mono is basically a bad viral phase, and throwing up can happen when your body is fighting it off. Just rest, sip on some fresh coconut water, and sleep as much as possible. You'll get through this!

Two guys in my hostel got mono last semester and they were completely wrecked. One of them actually had severe vomiting and couldn't keep food down for two days. It is basically a brutal viral infection, so it messes up your whole system.

Any heavy viral load like mono can strain the body, causing nausea and vomiting. At my age, managing BP means I have to be very careful with fluid loss from vomiting. Please monitor your blood pressure and get regular checkups done during recovery.
