Is valium a pain killer?

My back pain has been really bothering me, and a friend suggested Valium. I always thought it was for anxiety, so I'm confused. Is Valium actually a pain killer, or should I be looking for something else for my back?

No, Valium is not primarily a pain killer. It's a benzodiazepine, used for anxiety, seizures, and muscle spasms. It might indirectly help with pain if the pain is caused by muscle tension, but it's not an analgesic. Always check with a doctor before taking any such strong medication.

Valium is more for anxiety and muscle relaxation, not a typical painkiller like Crocin or Combiflam. I tried so many things for my back pain before a doctor prescribed proper meds. If you're in pain, please see a doctor. They'll give you what you really need.

Hey! 😊 Valium isn't a painkiller, it's more for chilling out your nerves or muscles. If you're looking for pain relief, you should chat with a doctor to get the right medicine for your specific pain. Hope you feel better soon! ✨

Haan na, Valium painkiller nahi hai. Woh toh stress kam karne aur body ko relax karne ke liye hota hai mostly. Dard ke liye toh alag dawai hoti hai. Doctor se pooch ke hi lena chahiye, yeh sab drugs powerful hote hain.

Dard ko kam karne ke liye Valium seedha kaam nahi karta, beti. Iska kaam mann ko shant karna hai. Agar aapko takleef hai, toh doctor se milo aur sahi upchaar lo. Apne sharir ka khayal rakho aur accha socho.

As someone who deals with medicines, I can tell you Valium (diazepam) is primarily an anxiolytic, a muscle relaxant, and an anticonvulsant. It's not classified as a direct painkiller. If you're experiencing pain, you need something specific for that, so consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Valium is a serious prescription drug and not cheap. More importantly, it's not for pain. Don't self-medicate or just buy whatever, it's dangerous and expensive in the long run. Go to a government hospital doc, they'll guide you right for proper pain relief.
