Is urinary tract infection a sign of early pregnancy?

My period is a bit late, and I've also been having some burning sensation when I pee. My friend told me that a urinary tract infection (UTI) can sometimes be an early sign of pregnancy. Is this true, or is she just guessing?

Not really a direct sign, but your body goes through so many changes early on. Best to get tested for both UTI and pregnancy. Just like with thyroid, it's all about regular checks and doctor follow-up.

Mere bete ko bhi UTI hua tha ek baar, bahut uncomfortable hota hai. Pregnancy mein hormones change hote hain toh infection ke chances thode badh jaate hain, but it's not a *sign*. Best to do a pregnancy test and see a doc for the UTI.

High BP ke jaise, UTI ko bhi lightly nahi lena chahiye. Pregnancy mein complications ho sakte hain agar infection untreated rahe. Get it checked and follow the doctor's advice carefully. Lifestyle changes can help prevent them too.

Beta, UTI aur garbh dharan (pregnancy) do alag baatein hain. UTI ke liye nimbu pani ya nariyal pani peete raho, par doctor ko bhi dikhana zaroori hai. Jaldi jaanch karwa lo.

I had a UTI once and it was so painful! I tried cranberry juice and lots of water, but ultimately needed medicine. It's not really a pregnancy sign, just a common infection. Go to the doctor, don't suffer needlessly!

From a diet perspective, staying hydrated and avoiding sugary drinks can help with UTIs. But as for it being a pregnancy sign, I don't think so. These are two separate things. Please consult a doctor for diagnosis.
