Is to much sleep bad for you?

Sometimes I sleep for 10-12 hours, especially on weekends, and then I feel more groggy than refreshed. Can too much sleep actually be bad for your health in the long run?

Sleeping too much, like over 9 hours regularly, can actually make you feel more sluggish and is sometimes linked to thyroid issues or low mood. It is best to stick to a consistent 7-8 hour schedule and consult a doctor if you feel tired all the time.

Beti, jada sona bhi sharir ko aalsi bana deta hai aur sir bhari lagta hai. Subah jaldi uth kar thoda dhoop me ghumo, sharir me furti aayegi.

Hey, don't stress too much if you oversleep once in a while, your body might just be recovering. But if it's happening every single day, it might be good to get a basic health check done just to be safe!

I used to sleep for 10-11 hours because I was emotionally drained and had no energy. I felt so guilty, but I realized it was my body's cry for help. Please don't blame yourself, but do get your thyroid and vitamin levels checked.
