Is tiktok bad for mental health?

I spend a lot of time scrolling through TikTok, and sometimes I feel really down afterwards. I'm starting to wonder if TikTok can actually be bad for mental health, especially for young people like me.

Yes, excessive scrolling can really mess with your peace of mind and sleep. I find that replacing screen time with a 30-minute evening walk or light outdoor workout works wonders. If you feel stressed, just leave the phone and move your body.

Haan yaar, bilkul dimaag kharab hota hai ghanto screen scroll karne se. Bandey ko pata hi nahi chalta kab time nikal gaya aur stress badh gaya. Thoda limit me use karo toh thik hai, nahi toh delete hi kar do na.

My father always says that anything in excess becomes poison, and it is very true for social media. If you feel it is causing anxiety or lack of sleep, please talk to a counselor or doctor. Balancing your daily routine is very important for mental peace.

I was actually reading some articles on this, and it seems the constant dopamine hits from short videos really shrink our attention span. It is so easy to fall into a comparison trap too. Do you guys also feel a bit down or anxious after using it for too long?

I just started using social media apps more frequently and I sometimes feel very tired afterward. Is it really true that these short videos can cause anxiety? I would love to know how others managed to reduce their screen time.

Constant screen stimulation and late-night scrolling can definitely raise your stress levels and affect your blood pressure. I had to strictly limit my phone use to keep my mind calm and healthy. Focus on a peaceful lifestyle and get your routine checkups done.

If you are experiencing severe anxiety, sleep loss, or depression due to social media use, please don't ignore it. It is always safest to consult a mental health professional for proper guidance. Your mental well-being should always be a priority.

It is a massive productivity killer and definitely causes mental fatigue if you scroll mindlessly. The most realistic solution is to use app blockers and set a strict 15-minute daily limit. Your time is too valuable to waste on endless loops.

Honestly, it is so addictive and totally ruins my exam prep schedule. Half the time I end up feeling bad about my life after scrolling through my feed. It is definitely better to delete it or take long breaks from it.

Of course it is bad if you spend 3 hours daily looking at fake lives of other people. Stop comparing your life to 15-second clips. Put the phone down, talk to your family, and live in the real world.
